How do I Export Student Data from the Admin Dashboard?
A step-by-step guide for Special Education Administrators on how to download and export all available data from the Amplio Reading Intervention Admin Dashboard before the platform closes on June 30, 2026.
Downloading and Exporting Your Data
For Administrators
The Amplio Reading Intervention platform will no longer be available after June 30, 2026. This guide walks you through every report and export available to you as a Special Education Administrator so you can save the data that matters most to your district before the platform closes.
As a Special Education Administrator, you have access to district- and school-level data through the District Dashboard and Reports tabs, as well as individual student records — including progress notes and plans of care — through the Students tab. All four tabs are visible at the top of the screen when you log in to your administrator account: District Dashboard, Reports, Interventionists, and Students.
Deadline: All data must be downloaded before June 30, 2026. After that date, the platform will be shut down and data will no longer be accessible. Data retention following June 30 will be handled in accordance with our Terms of Service.
If you need help at any point, reach out to support@ampliolearning.com.
What Admins Can Download or Export
Here is a complete list of files you can download directly from your admin account:
- District-Level Summary CSV — A district-level export of service delivery and engagement metrics for the filtered date range (from the Export CSV button at the top of the Reports tab)
- Bulk Reading PDFs — A single merged PDF of all reading probe reports for a filtered set of students (from the Student-Level Probe Data section of the Reports tab)
- Bulk Spelling PDFs — A single merged PDF of all spelling probe reports for a filtered set of students (from the Student-Level Probe Data section of the Reports tab)
- Individual Probe PDFs (per student) — A formatted Reading Probe Report for a single student, accessed by selecting View in the Student-Level Probe Data table
- Progress Notes PDF (per student) — A session-by-session compliance report titled Progress Notes (Dyslexia), including student demographics, ICD code, Medicaid number, weekly therapy sessions, and a full session log (from the Students tab)
- Plan of Care PDF (per student) — A student's documented care plan, if completed by their interventionist (from the Students tab — note: this is optional and may not contain data for all students)
The District Dashboard and other on-screen views are not directly exportable as files but contain important data worth capturing via screenshot or print-to-PDF before June 30.
Step 1: Log In to Your Admin Account
- Go to https://school.ampliospeech.com/ and log in with your administrator credentials.
- If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page.
- Once logged in, you will see four tabs at the top of the screen: District Dashboard, Reports, Interventionists, and Students.
For more details on logging in, and a visual overview of the four tabs, see Getting Started with the Admin Center.
Step 2: Export the District-Level CSV (Reports Tab)
The first thing you will see when you select the Reports tab is the Dyslexia Reporting page — a district-level view of dyslexia service delivery and outcomes. At the top right of this page is the Export CSV button, which is the broadest data export available from the Admin Center.
Important: The CSV export includes whatever filters are currently applied. Before exporting, make sure your date range covers the full school year to capture all available data.
Set Your Filters
At the top of the Dyslexia Reporting page, set your filters:
- School — Select a specific school, or leave set to All Schools to include the full district
- Educator — Select a specific interventionist, or leave set to All Educators
- Start Date / End Date — Set to cover the full school year (e.g., August 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026)
- Active students only — Toggle off if you want to include inactive students in the export
Note: You will only see the districts assigned to your account.
Export the CSV
- Once your filters are set, select Export CSV in the top right corner.
- The file will download automatically.
- Open in Excel or another spreadsheet application to review and archive.
The CSV contains the following district-level fields: district ID and name, date range, sessions scheduled, sessions completed, completion rate, sessions cancelled, sessions rescheduled, actual minutes, students engaged, students total, students engaged percentage, educators engaged, educators total, educators engaged percentage, average sessions per week, and average session minutes.
For a visual overview of the full Reports tab, see Using the Reports Tab.
Step 3: Download Bulk Probe PDFs (Reports Tab)
As you scroll down the Dyslexia Reporting page, you will reach the Student-Level Probe Data section. This table lists all students with their reading and spelling probe data, and is where you can download bulk PDFs for your full district or filtered view.
The table columns include: Student Name, Grade, Current Kit, Reading Earliest (WCPM), Reading Fluency Spring Norms (WCPM), Reading Latest (WCPM), Reading Growth, Reading Trend, Spelling Earliest, Spelling Latest, Spelling Growth, and Spelling Trend.
Download All Reading PDFs
- In the top right of the Student-Level Probe Data section, select Download All Reading PDFs.
- A single merged PDF will generate containing reading probe reports for all students in your current filtered view.
- Save the file to your district's designated storage location.
Download All Spelling PDFs
- Select Download All Spelling PDFs in the same location.
- A single merged PDF will generate containing spelling probe reports for all students in your current filtered view.
- Save the file to your district's designated storage location.
Tip: If your district has multiple schools, consider filtering by school before downloading to keep files organized.
Tip: These reports are useful for IEP documentation, dyslexia program files, and MTSS or ARD data reviews.
For a visual walkthrough of the Student-Level Probe Data section and download buttons, see Using the Reports Tab.
Step 4: Download Individual Probe PDFs (Reports Tab)
In addition to the bulk downloads, you can generate an individual Reading Probe Report for any student directly from the Student-Level Probe Data table.
- In the Student-Level Probe Data table, locate the student you need.
- Select View in the PDF column next to the student's name.
- A modal will open showing the Reading Probe Report, which includes:
- Student Name, Amplio ID, and Interventionist
- Reading Probe name (e.g., MTA Kit 1: Story 1)
- A written Summary narrative of the probe session
- At the top of the modal, check the box to acknowledge: "This report contains personally identifiable information. By printing it, I am liable for its use."
- Select the print icon in the top left of the modal to save as a PDF.
Step 5: Download Progress Notes (Students Tab)
Progress Notes provide a full session-by-session compliance record for an individual student. The report is titled Progress Notes (Dyslexia) and is one of the most important exports for IEP compliance, billing documentation, and supervision records.
The report includes:
Student header fields: Student Name, Student ID, School Name, Date of Birth, Amplio ID, School ID, Gender, ICD Code, Medicaid Number, and Weekly Number of Therapy Sessions (# Sessions X Minutes).
Session log columns: Date, Time, Therapist, NPI, CPT Code, Duration, Status, Documentation, Activity, and eSigned By.
For screenshots of the Students tab, Progress Notes dialog, and completed report, see Viewing Your Students.
How to Download Progress Notes
- Select Students from the navigation tabs at the top of the page.
- Use the Search bar to find a student by name, or scroll through the paginated list (10 rows per page by default).
- Check the Include Inactive Users box in the bottom right if you need to include students who are no longer active.
- Select the checkbox next to the student's name.
- Select View Progress Notes in the top right corner.
- The Creating Progress Notes Report modal will open. Set your desired date range — the label reads "Dates - select up to 12 months."
- Select Create report.
- The report will open in a modal. Check the box at the top to acknowledge: "This report contains personally identifiable information. By printing it, I am liable for its use."
- Use the print icon in the top left of the modal to save as a PDF.
Tip: To cover a full school year that spans more than 12 months, run two separate reports with adjacent date ranges.
Tip: Prioritize students with active IEPs, ARD documentation requirements, or ongoing Medicaid billing records. Progress Notes must be downloaded one student at a time.
Step 6: Save Plans of Care (Students Tab)
The Plan of Care shows a student's documented care plan for a given service. Note that completing a Plan of Care is optional for interventionists, so this may not contain data for all students.
How to Save a Plan of Care
- Select Students from the navigation tabs.
- Find the student and select the checkbox next to their name.
- Select View Plan of Care in the top right corner.
- Review the plan — if the interventionist has completed it, it will display the documented care plan and any prior versions.
- Use your browser's Print to PDF function (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P → Save as PDF) to save.
For a screenshot of the Plan of Care view, see Viewing Your Students.
Step 7: Capture Dashboard and On-Screen Data
The District Dashboard and sections of the Reports tab contain program-level data that is viewable on screen but not directly downloadable as files. Capture these views before June 30 using your browser's Print to PDF function (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P → Save as PDF) or a screenshot tool.
District Dashboard
The District Dashboard shows the Dyslexia Reporting Overview with key metrics organized into four sections. Consider capturing:
- Service Delivery — Sessions Scheduled, Sessions Completed, Minutes/Day, Days/Week, Meeting 4 Days/Week
- Engagement — Students Engaged, Interventionists
- Probe Administration — Reading Probes, Spelling Probes, Reading Coverage, Spelling Coverage
- Student Progress — Reading Growth (median WCPM change), Reading Improving, Spelling Growth (median accuracy change), Spelling Improving
- Daily Activity — Reading and spelling activity trends over time
Reports Tab
As you scroll down the Dyslexia Reporting page, consider also capturing:
- District Snapshot — High-level metrics with period-over-period comparisons
- Kit Progress — Student progress through the 7 MTA kits, including status distribution
- Kit Funnel — Where students are progressing or getting stuck across kits
- Educator and Caseload — Per-educator breakdown of caseload, service delivery, and student outcomes
- Student Progress Table — Individual student kit progress, status badges, and velocity indicators
For visual walkthroughs of all of these sections, see Using the Reports Tab.
Step 8: Save Your Student and Interventionist Rosters
Before the platform closes, save a record of your full student and educator rosters.
Student Roster
- Select Students from the navigation tabs.
- The table includes: ID, Username, Ext. ID, Full Name, School Name, Service, and Grade.
- Check Include Inactive Users in the bottom right to include all students.
- Use your browser's Print to PDF function to save the list.
Interventionist Roster
- Select Interventionists from the navigation tabs.
- Review the full list of educators, their service types, and caseload information.
- Use your browser's Print to PDF function to save the list.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens to data after June 30, 2026?
After June 30, 2026, data retention will be handled in accordance with Amplio's Terms of Service. We strongly encourage you to download all relevant records before the deadline.
Can I download Progress Notes for multiple students at once?
Progress Notes must be downloaded one student at a time from the Students tab. Prioritize students with active IEPs or upcoming ARD meetings. For bulk probe data across all students, use Download All Reading PDFs or Download All Spelling PDFs from the Student-Level Probe Data section of the Reports tab.
The CSV export or PDF download isn't working — what should I do?
Check that your browser is not blocking pop-ups or downloads from the site. If the issue persists, try a different browser or contact support@ampliolearning.com.
What if I don't see probe data for some students?
If probe reports appear blank or incomplete, check that:
- The date range is set broadly (e.g., full school year)
- The correct school and educator filters are selected
- Probes were actually administered for those students
If you still have questions, contact support@ampliolearning.com.
What if a Progress Notes report covers more than 12 months?
The report supports up to 12 months per download. Run two separate reports with adjacent date ranges to cover multiple school years.
The Plan of Care is blank for some students — is that an error?
No — completing a Plan of Care is optional for interventionists. If it is blank, it simply means the interventionist did not fill it out for that student.
Who should I contact for billing or refund questions?
For questions about refunds or contract status, contact finance@ampliolearning.com.
What Your Educators Can Export
Educators have access to additional student-level data from their own accounts, including session notes, individual probe reports, and independent practice data. For a full walkthrough of what educators can download and how, see:
