How Do I Export My Student Data?

A step-by-step guide for Reading Intervention educators on how to download and save all available student data and reports.

Downloading and Exporting Your Data

For Educators

This guide walks you through every report, export, and downloadable resource available from your educator account so you can save everything that matters.

If you need help at any point, reach out at support@ampliolearning.com or call (903) 961-1597.

What Educators Can Download or Export

Here is a complete list of what is available from your educator account:

  • MTA Progress Report (per student PDF) — An overview of a student's performance across the MTA curriculum over time, available from the Timeline and Reports section of the student profile
  • Progress Notes (per student PDF) — A session-by-session record for a student, available from the Timeline and Reports section of the student profile
  • Session Planning Report (per student PDF) — A session planning report for a student, available from the Timeline and Reports section of the student profile
  • Spelling Probe Reports (per student PDF) — A formatted report of a student's spelling probe results, accessed by clicking on an individual date within the Spelling Probe section of the student profile and selecting PDF Report
  • Reading Probe Reports (per student PDF) — A formatted report of a student's reading probe results, accessed by clicking on an individual date within the Reading Probe section of the student profile and selecting PDF Report
  • Dyslexia Curriculum PDF — A downloadable PDF of a student's curriculum progress, accessed via the PDF report button in the Dyslexia curriculum section of the student profile

Additional student data — including session history, lesson progress, kit completion, independent practice activity, and activity status — is viewable in each student's profile but is not directly exportable as a PDF. We recommend capturing this data via screenshot or print-to-PDF before June 30.

Step 1: Log In to Your Educator Account

  1. Go to https://school.ampliospeech.com/ and log in with your educator credentials.
  2. If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page or contact support.
  3. Once logged in, you will land on the Home page with access to your session schedule, student caseload, and platform navigation.

For more details, see Logging In as an Educator.

Step 2: Access the Student Profile

Most of the available exports are accessed from within an individual student's profile. The sections appear in the following order as you scroll down the profile.

  1. Navigate to Students and Groups from the sidebar.
  2. Select the student's name from your caseload list.
  3. Select the profile button to open their full profile.

For more detail on the student profile, see Reviewing the Student Profile.

Step 3: Download Reports from Timeline and Reports

The first exportable section you will see as you scroll down the student profile is Timeline and Reports. This section contains four items — three of which generate downloadable PDFs.

Note for all PDF exports in the student profile: After generating a report, a preview modal will open. Before printing, check the box at the top to acknowledge "This report contains personally identifiable information. By printing it, I am liable for its use." Then select the print icon in the top left of the modal. Your browser's Print dialog will open — set the Destination to Save as PDF and select Save to download the file to your device, in accordance with your district's policies or administrator instructions.

MTA Progress Report

The MTA Progress Report provides an overview of a student's performance across the MTA curriculum over time. Note that this report is generated per kit, so you may need to generate one for each kit the student has worked through.

  1. In the Timeline and Reports section, select MTA Progress Report.
  2. The Creating MTA Progress Report modal will open. Set your desired date range — the label reads "Dates - select up to 12 months."
  3. Select Create report.
  4. Acknowledge the PII statement, select the print icon, and save as PDF.
  5. Repeat for each student on your caseload.

For more information, see MTA Progress Report.

Progress Notes

Progress Notes provide a session-by-session record of a student's intervention sessions, useful for IEP compliance and supervision documentation.

  1. In the Timeline and Reports section, select Progress Notes.
  2. Set your desired date range in the modal that appears.
  3. Select Create report.
  4. Acknowledge the PII statement, select the print icon, and save as PDF.

View Activity Status

The Activity Status view provides a summary of a student's current activity status in the platform. This view is not directly exportable as a PDF — use your browser's Print to PDF function (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P → Save as PDF) or take a screenshot to capture it.

Session Planning Report

The Session Planning Report provides session planning information for a student and follows the same PDF generation flow as the MTA Progress Report and Progress Notes.

  1. In the Timeline and Reports section, select Session Planning Report.
  2. Set your desired date range in the modal that appears.
  3. Select Create report.
  4. Acknowledge the PII statement, select the print icon, and save as PDF.

Step 4: Download Spelling Probe Reports

Further down the student profile, you will find the Spelling Probe section. Spelling probe reports are accessed by clicking on an individual date bar within the probe chart.

  1. In the student profile, scroll down to the Spelling Probe section.
  2. Select a specific date bar on the probe chart to open that session's popup.
  3. The popup shows the date, probe name (e.g. Spelling Probe 14: WSFP#7), success rate, total words, error breakdown, and classifications.
  4. Select PDF Report in the top right of the popup.
  5. Acknowledge the PII statement, select the print icon, and save as PDF.
  6. Repeat for each probe session you want to retain.

Step 5: Download Reading Probe Reports

Below the Spelling Probe section, you will find the Reading Probe section. Reading probe reports follow the same flow — click on an individual date to open the session popup, then generate a PDF.

  1. In the student profile, scroll down to the Reading Probe section.
  2. Select a specific date point on the probe chart to open that session's popup.
  3. The popup shows the probe date, probe name, WCPM, accuracy, and a summary narrative.
  4. Select PDF Report in the top right of the popup.
  5. Acknowledge the PII statement, select the print icon, and save as PDF.
  6. Repeat for each probe session you want to retain.

Tip: Probes should have been conducted approximately every two weeks. If a student has a full year of records, they may have 18–20 or more individual probe sessions to review.

For more information, see Using Reading & Spelling Probes in Amplio Reading Intervention.

Step 6: Download the Dyslexia Curriculum PDF

Continuing down the student profile, you will reach the Dyslexia curriculum section. This section includes a date range selector and a PDF report button.

  1. In the student profile, scroll down to the Dyslexia curriculum section.
  2. Set the Start Date and End Date fields to cover the full school year.
  3. Select PDF report.
  4. Acknowledge the PII statement, select the print icon, and save as PDF.
  5. Repeat for each student on your caseload, in accordance with your district's policies or administrator instructions.

Step 7: Capture Remaining Student Profile Data

In addition to the PDF exports above, there is other useful data visible throughout the student profile that is worth preserving. Use your browser's Print to PDF function (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P → Save as PDF) or a screenshot tool to capture any other sections of the student profile that are relevant to your records — such as Assigned Skills, Assigned Skill Reports, Kit Progress, and any other data visible as you scroll.

Step 8: Save Your Training Certificates (TalentLMS)

If you completed any Amplio MTA Kit Level Training, your training certificates are stored in TalentLMS. Your credentials remain valid for MTA curriculum use in any format — digital or print — but you will need a saved copy to access them going forward.

To access and save your certificates:

  1. Go to ampliolearning.talentlms.com and log in with your training credentials.
  2. Navigate to your completed courses.
  3. Download your certificate(s) for each completed Kit Level Training.
  4. Save copies to a secure location.

If you have trouble accessing TalentLMS, contact support@ampliolearning.com for assistance.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have a large caseload — where should I start?

We recommend prioritizing in this order:

  1. Timeline and Reports exports (MTA Progress Report, Progress Notes, Session Planning Report) for students with active IEPs or upcoming ARD meetings
  2. Spelling and Reading Probe reports for students with the longest probe histories
  3. Dyslexia Curriculum PDFs for all students
  4. Any remaining student profile data captured via screenshot or print-to-PDF

Are my TalentLMS training certificates affected?

Yes — please download your training certificates before June 30, 2026. Your credentials and the certificates themselves remain valid for MTA curriculum use in any format, but you will need to have saved copies before June 30 to ensure you can access them going forward.

What if I can't find a student's data?

Check that you are viewing the correct student in Students and Groups. If you manage a large caseload, use the search function to locate the student by name. If you believe data is missing, contact support@ampliolearning.com before June 30.

Where can I get print MTA curriculum materials after June 30?

The MTA curriculum remains available in print through MTS Publications. Visit mtspublications.com or contact Janna Dobbs at jcurry@mtspublications.com | (972) 552-1090.

What Your Administrator Can Export on Your Behalf

Your district's Special Education Administrator has access to additional reports that can be downloaded at the admin level, including bulk probe PDFs for your entire caseload and Progress Notes reports. If you need district-level documentation, reach out to your administrator.
