What’s new in Amplio:

CARTWHEEL Program Expansion

Doubled the size of the program by adding therapy materials to target "Asking Questions," complementing the existing "Answering Questions" materials.

  • Designed for PK-2 grade students who struggle with forming and answering wh-questions, the Comprehending, Asking, Responding To WH Questions in Early and Elementary Language program targets syntax and morphology. A vital part of acquiring appropriate syntax is the student's ability to compose and ask questions.

  • Up until this release, CARTWHEEL focused on teaching students how to answer WH questions, with three levels of question types based on semantic complexity: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The expanded version of CARTWHEEL focuses on teaching students to generate WH questions, and targets the same question types arranged in the same three levels.

  • This program expansion is a natural step in the evolution of this program and serves as a mirror image of Answering Questions: All answers within the Answering Questions exercises of CARTWHEEL meet their counterpart questions within the Answering Questions exercises.

Improvements to how session notes are organized

Providers can now quickly access the specific session notes they’re looking for using educator- and date-based filters.

Access and restore archived session notes

Educators can now easily access archived notes, review their content, and restore them by reverting the note to a previous status.

Revisit Archived Notes – Access and Restore

Now, educators can easily access archived notes, review their content, and restore them to a previous stage for editing. This feature offers flexibility in managing session notes.

Track changes and lock down editing on session notes

This enhancement creates more clarity for providers who may be collaborating with other staff on session documentation. Users can now protect their session notes by locking the entry, preventing any additional changes. Additionally, every note now includes a "last edited by" indication, making it effortless to track changes and streamline oversight.

More flexible options related to importing users from Clever

We’ve expanded the list of Clever user tags/role types that can be imported into Amplio. Amplio now accepts users tagged as “staff” in the district’s SIS/SSO platform.
