Amplio offers students various login methods including a unique login link and class codes or QR codes to help them log directly in to a session.
We recommend providing your student's their unique login link. It is best to bookmark this on their device so they always have a quick one click login method.
Let's review the different methods available to your students.
Unique Login Link
From the Students & Groups page, select the student you want to get logged in.
Under the Personal Information section of the student's profile, you will see a Login Link field that has a unique code. Click on the paper icon to the right of the code to copy the unique login link to your clipboard.
Now, simply provide this link to your student (or bookmark it on their device) and they will be instantly logged into their Welcome Screen where they can select the scheduled session to enter.
Note: The codes are student specific, so use caution when sharing them. The student's unique login link will not change as long as the student is using Amplio.
Class Code
A class code is generated when you schedule a session.
This code will remain the same unless the participant list changes. If one participant is removed or added, a new class code will be generated. This is very important to remember as modifying the participant list will require you to share the new class code with your students.
Students logging in using the class code should visit the login page and then enter in the class code. Amplio will then ask them to enter their first and last name to confirm they are a participant within the session.
Note: The student will need to enter their first and last name correctly (meaning no spelling errors) for the system to properly identify their account.
Enlarge Code/QR Code
Students can also scan the QR code that is generated alongside the class code. The QR code is displayed when clicking on the session from the Calendar page and clicking on the class code link as seen below.
You will then see the following popup that displays the QR code, as well as the class code that can be copied and sent to your student(s).
Note: Using the QR code to login requires the student(s) to also type in their first and last name for the system to properly identify them.
If your students are having difficulties entering in their names, we strongly recommend providing and bookmarking their unique login link so they can simply one click login at any time.
