How Do I Export Student Data as an Admin?

A guide for Speech & Language administrators on how to capture dashboard data and enable educator-level data exports from the Amplio SL Admin Center.

This guide explains how administrators can access and preserve student data from the Amplio Speech & Language platform.

If you need help at any point, reach out to support@ampliolearning.com.

What Administrators Can Access

The SL Admin Center at admin.ampliolearning.com provides district- and school-level visibility into your Speech & Language program through aggregate dashboards and user management tools. However, the Admin Center does not have direct file export capabilities — data downloads and exports are available through the educator-facing platform only.

There are two ways administrators can ensure data is captured:

  1. Screen capture dashboard views — Screenshot or print-to-PDF any aggregate data visible in the Admin Center that you want to retain
  2. Add yourself or other staff as educators — Administrators, coordinators, and supervisors can be added as educator users in the platform, assigned to any students, and then access the full suite of educator-level data exports. There is no limit on the number of educators that can be assigned to a student.

Step 1: Log In to the SL Admin Center

  1. Go to login.ampliolearning.com in your browser.
  2. Log in using your administrator email and password, or select Log in with Google if your district uses Google accounts.
  3. Once authenticated, you will be directed to the Admin Center at admin.ampliolearning.com.

Bookmark the Admin Center directly: Once logged in, bookmark admin.ampliolearning.com for faster access in future sessions.

First-time login: If you never received a welcome email or your setup link has expired, use the Forgot password? link on the login page or contact your Amplio Customer Success representative.

For more details, see Logging In as an Administrator.

Step 2: Capture Dashboard Data (Screen Capture)

The Admin Center provides aggregate reporting dashboards with district-, school-, and educator-level metrics. These views are not directly exportable as files — use your browser's Print to PDF function (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P → Save as PDF) or a screenshot tool to capture any data you want to retain.

Recommended Views to Capture

Educator Insight tab:

  • Full KPI card view — behavioral, performance, and interventional metrics
  • Schools table — per-school breakdown
  • Educators table — per-SLP/SLPA metrics

Reports tab:

  • District Snapshot — high-level metrics with period-over-period comparisons
  • Student-level data tables — individual student progress and engagement
  • Educator Rollup — per-educator student counts and performance distribution

Before capturing, use the school and date range filters at the top of each view to scope your data. Set the date range as wide as possible to capture the full school year.

Step 3: Import Educators and Assign Student Caseloads

For detailed step-by-step instructions on how to import administrators, supervisors, or coordinators as educator users and assign students to their caseloads, see:

How to Import Educators and Assign Student Caseloads (Admin Guide)

Reminder: There is no limit on the number of educators that can be assigned to a student. Adding yourself or other staff as educators will not affect existing therapist assignments.

Step 4: Export Data as an Educator

Once added as an educator and assigned to students, administrators and supervisors have access to the full suite of educator data exports. For a complete walkthrough of all available exports and how to access them, refer to the Educator Guide:

How Do I Export My Speech & Language Student Data?

In summary, the educator platform provides access to:

  • Session Summaries — Bulk session notes across a caseload (Caseload Reports)
  • Progress Data — Bulk progress report across a caseload (Caseload Reports)
  • Individual Session Notes — Per-session notes for each student (Session Details tab)
  • Target Skill Progress CSV — Monthly accuracy data per target skill (Reports tab)
  • Target Skill Summary CSV — Current summary metrics per target skill (Reports tab)
  • Usage Breakdown CSV — Total time by Practice, Instruction, and Play (Reports tab)

Step 5: Save Your Student and Educator Rosters

Save a record of your student and educator rosters from the Admin Center for your files.

Student Roster

  1. Select Students from the left navigation sidebar.
  2. The Students List table includes each student's Last Name, First Name, Last Login, Grade, Schools, Educators, Email, ID, Licenses, and Source.
  3. Use your browser's Print to PDF function (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P → Save as PDF) to save the full list.

Educator Roster

  1. Select Educators from the left navigation sidebar.
  2. The Educators List table shows all SLPs, SLPAs, and any other educator users in your district, including their caseload size, school, email, and license status.
  3. Use your browser's Print to PDF function to save the list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can administrators download data directly from the Admin Center?

No — the SL Admin Center provides aggregate dashboard views and user management tools but does not have direct file export capabilities. All data exports are available through the educator-facing platform. The most effective path is to import yourself or other staff as educator users, assign the relevant students, and access exports directly.

Will adding myself as an educator affect existing therapist assignments?

No — there is no limit on the number of educators that can be assigned to a student. Adding yourself or a supervisor to a student's caseload does not remove or affect the existing therapist's assignment.

What if the person I need to add doesn't appear in the Clever or ClassLink import list?

Contact support@ampliolearning.com and our team can help add users manually.

Who should I contact for billing questions?

For questions about billing or contract status, contact finance@ampliolearning.com.
