What Educators Can Download or Export
Here is a complete list of what is available from your SL educator account:
- Session Summaries (bulk report) — A bulk session notes report across your caseload, generated from the Caseload Reports section and copied to your records
- Progress Data (bulk report) — A progress data report across your caseload, generated from the Caseload Reports section and copied to your records
- Individual Session Notes (per session, per student) — Session notes for completed sessions, accessible from the Session Details tab of the student profile and copied individually
- Target Skill Progress CSV (per student) — An Excel export of a student's target skill accuracy over time, downloaded from the Reports tab of the student profile
- Target Skill Summary CSV (per student) — An Excel export of a student's current target skill summary metrics, downloaded from the Reports tab of the student profile
- Usage Breakdown CSV (per student) — An Excel export of a student's total time by Practice, Instruction, and Play, plus monthly minutes and exercises, downloaded from the Reports tab of the student profile
The following data is viewable on screen but not directly file-exportable. Capture these via screenshot or print-to-PDF (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P → Save as PDF) before June 30:
- Student profile data — Goals, assigned programs, session history, home practice activity, and any other relevant data visible as you scroll through the student profile
Step 1: Log In to Your Educator Account
Most educators access Amplio through their district's Clever or ClassLink portal. This is the recommended method if your district uses either of those platforms.
Logging in via Clever
- Log in to your Clever portal as usual.
- Find the Amplio tile and select it.
- You will be logged in automatically and directed to your Amplio home screen.
Logging in via ClassLink
- Log in to your ClassLink portal as usual.
- Find the Amplio tile and select it.
- You will be logged in automatically and directed to your Amplio home screen.
Logging in directly
If your district does not use Clever or ClassLink, you can log in directly:
- Go to login.ampliolearning.com in your browser.
- Choose one of the following:
- Enter your email and select Send one-time passcode to receive a login code by email
- Select Log in with Google if your district uses Google accounts
- Enter your email and password if you have set up a password previously
- Once authenticated, you will be directed to your Amplio home screen at app.ampliolearning.com.
Step 2: Generate Session Summaries (Caseload Reports)
Session Summaries provide a bulk record of session notes across your caseload — the most efficient way to capture documentation for all of your students at once.
Navigate to Caseload Reports
- From the platform navigation, select Caseload Reports.
- You will see three tabs: Caseload Overview, Session Summaries, and Progress Data.
Generate the Session Summaries Report
- Select the Session Summaries tab.
- Set the Date Range using the dropdown on the left — select a custom date range covering the full school year to capture all available records.
- Review the Students filter to the right of the date range. By default, the All checkbox is checked, which includes all students on your caseload. To generate a report for specific students or groups only, uncheck All and use the Groups or Students selector to make your selection.
- Select Generate Report in the top right corner.
- The Session Summaries Report (Session Data Only) will generate below, showing session-by-session entries including session date, student name, educator name, program used, skilled interventions, activity details with accuracy scores, and therapy skills targeted.
- Select Copy in the bottom right corner to copy the full report content.
- Paste into a document, spreadsheet, or your district's records system in accordance with your district's policies or administrator instructions.
Tip: Run this for your full caseload first to capture everything in one pass. You can run additional filtered reports for specific students or date ranges as needed.
Step 3: Generate Progress Data (Caseload Reports)
The Progress Data report follows the same flow as Session Summaries and provides progress information across your caseload.
- From Caseload Reports, select the Progress Data tab.
- Set the Date Range using the dropdown on the left to cover the full school year.
- By default, the All checkbox is checked to include all students. Uncheck All and use the Groups or Students selector if you need to filter to specific students.
- Select Generate Report in the top right corner.
- The Progress Data (Session Data Only) report will generate below.
- Select Copy in the bottom right corner to copy the full report content.
- Paste into a document, spreadsheet, or your district's records system in accordance with your district's policies or administrator instructions.
Step 4: Access Individual Session Notes (Session Details Tab)
For completed sessions, individual session notes can also be accessed directly from the student profile — useful when you need a specific student's session records without generating a full caseload report. Note that these are the same session notes that appear in the Session Summaries report.
- Navigate to Groups and Students from the sidebar.
- Search for or select the student by name from the left panel.
- Select the Session Details tab at the top of the student profile.
- Use the Sessions Between date range filter to set the period you want to review.
- Locate a completed session in the list — completed sessions show a Session Note option on the right side of the row.
- Select Session Note to open the session note popup, which includes:
- Session date, time, and educator name
- Program used (e.g. ARROW, CHAMP)
- Skilled interventions
- Activity details with accuracy scores
- Therapy skills targeted
- Select Copy in the bottom right of the popup to copy the note content.
- Paste into your records in accordance with your district's policies or administrator instructions.
- Repeat for each session and student as needed.
Step 5: Download Target Skill Data (Reports Tab)
The Reports tab within the student profile contains two exportable Excel files — Target Skill Progress and Target Skill Summary — as well as a Usage Breakdown chart that can be captured via screenshot.
Navigate to the Reports Tab
- Navigate to Groups and Students from the sidebar.
- Search for or select the student by name.
- Select the Reports tab at the top of the student profile.
- At the top of the Reports tab, set your Date Range and Data Source filters (All Data, Session, or Independent Practice) as needed.
Download Target Skill Progress Data
The Target Skill Progress chart shows a student's accuracy over time for each target skill. This data can be exported as an Excel file.
- In the Target Skill Progress chart area, select the download icon (small square icon in the top right of the chart).
- The Download Target Skill Progress Data modal will open, showing a data notice and a summary of your current filter settings: Student, Date Range, Data Source, and Granularity.
- Review the notice — by downloading this report you acknowledge that it contains personal and/or sensitive data that must be stored securely, handled confidentially, and disclosed only to authorized persons in accordance with privacy rules.
- Select OK to proceed with the download.
- An Excel file will download containing two tabs:
- Metadata — Student name, date range, data source, and granularity
- Target Skills — One row per month and one column per target skill, showing accuracy percentages over time
- Save the file in accordance with your district's policies or administrator instructions.
Download Target Skill Summary Data
The Target Skill Summary table shows current summary metrics for each of a student's target skills. This data can also be exported as an Excel file.
- In the Target Skill Summary section below the charts, select the download icon next to the section title.
- Review the data notice in the modal that appears and select OK to proceed.
- An Excel file will download containing two tabs:
- Metadata — Student name, date range, and data source
- Target Skill Summary — One row per target skill with columns for Target Skill Name, Accuracy, Last 3, Mastery (Unclassified / Emerging / Approaching / Meets), ROP (Rate of Progress), and Last Practice date
- Save the file in accordance with your district's policies or administrator instructions.
Download Usage Breakdown Data
The Usage Breakdown chart shows total time spent in the platform broken down by Practice, Instruction, and Play. This data can be exported as an Excel file using the same download icon and data notice flow as the Target Skill exports above.
- In the Usage Breakdown chart area, select the download icon in the top right of the chart.
- Review the data notice in the modal and select OK to proceed.
- An Excel file will download containing four tabs:
- Metadata — Student name, date range, data source, and granularity
- Usage Breakdown — Practice, Instruction, and Play with total Hours and Minutes for each
- Minutes — Total minutes per month over the date range
- Exercises — Total exercises completed per month over the date range
- Save the file in accordance with your district's policies or administrator instructions.
Step 6: Capture Remaining Student Profile Data
In addition to the exports above, there is other useful data visible throughout the student profile worth preserving. Use your browser's Print to PDF function (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P → Save as PDF) or a screenshot tool to capture any sections relevant to your records as you scroll through each student's profile, including goals, assigned programs, home practice activity, and any other data not covered by the exports above.
