What’s new in Amplio:

Providers can now manually score expressive activities during student sessions, directly from the educator’s device. The score accuracy data collected during sessions is what fuels Amplio’s automated session notes and student-, caseload-, and district-wide reporting.

New program added to Amplio Speech & Language: Morphological Affixes - Prefixes and Suffixes (MAPS)

The Morphological Affixes - Prefixes and Suffixes (MAPS) program is designed for students in kindergarten through 3rd grade who struggle with morphology acquisition due to a language delay or disorder. This program focuses on teaching morphological concepts in a fun, interactive way using themed stories and word manipulation activities.

Enlarged Text/Images in Activities

We’ve made activity visuals more user-friendly, especially for students and educators who might be using Amplio on tablets.

Revised Activity Names Within WOW Program

The new activity names make it easier for educators to find relevant program materials, especially for students working on multiple sounds.

Condensed Feedback

We’ve streamlined the Amplio student experience, removing some unnecessary feedback screens. Less time clicking through screens means more time for practice!

Session Improvements

We’ve streamlined the Amplio educator experience, too.

  • Educators can now go directly to exercises when selecting a student.

  • When switching between students, Amplio now remembers the activities and picks up where you left off. This streamlines the process when switching between students in session mode, making it easier to collect data in groups.

  • We’ve added an alert to indicate when a student has no assignments in the queue.

New program added to Amplio Speech & Language: Parts of Speech Exploration (POSE)

Parts of Speech Exploration (POSE) is designed for students in grades K-3 who struggle with vocabulary and syntax acquisition due to a language delay or disorder. This program focuses on teaching fundamental parts of speech concepts in a fun and interactive way to improve their language and communication skills. Using themed stories makes learning words and their word classes engaging and meaningful.
