Educator Dashboards and Reports
Updated over a year ago

The Amplio Speech and Language Platform offers SLPs robust, detailed reporting information about their caseloads. To use the reporting feature:

Go to the Reports page.

From the Reports page, SLPs can view information about their entire caseload as well as individual students. The default view is the SLP’s entire caseload for the last 30 days. The date range can be adjusted by clicking the calendar dropdown.

The reporting page for the SLP’s entire caseload includes:

  • Active Student Information

    • The Students section gives the percentage of licensed students with activity during the selected date range.

  • Usage Breakdown

    • The Usage Breakdown section shows the minutes per active student divided by category.

  • The breakdown of minutes by type of usage of students can be viewed by hovering over the graph. Blue is the amount of time in Practice, pink is the amount of time in Instruction, and orange is the amount of time in Play.

  • Minutes and Exercises

    • The Minutes and Exercises area shows both the number of minutes and exercises per active student over time. Minutes and Exercises can be viewed by Days, Weeks, or Months.

  • Toggle between Minutes and Exercises by clicking the headers of Minutes or Exercises.

  • Top Focus Areas

    • The Top Focus Area section shows the distribution of students working in each area. In the example below, I can see that three students are working on Vocabulary, two students are working on Comprehension, and so on.

  • Focus Area Progress

    • The Focus Area Progress section shows the average accuracy in each focus area plotted over time (Days, Weeks, or Months).

  • View the progress of different focus areas by clicking the dropdown and selecting the focus area.

To view an individual student’s report, click the dropdown at the top of the page and select the student. You can also type the student’s name to find them more easily.

Although the Individual Student Report contains similar information to the Caseload Report, there are several differences.

The reporting page for Individual Students includes:

  • Breakdown of Usage, Minutes, and Exercises

    • Usage Breakdown shows total minutes by segmented category (blue for Practice, pink for Instruction, and orange for Play).

    • Minutes shows the number of minutes tracked over time.

    • Exercises shows the number of exercises completed over time.

  • Toggle between Usage Breakdown, Minutes, and Exercises by clicking the headers of Usage Breakdown, Minutes, or Exercises.

  • Target Skill Progress

    • Target Skill Progress shows the accuracy per target skill plotted over time (by Days, Weeks, or Months).

  • To view a different skill, click the dropdown and select the skill from the list.

  • Target Skill Summary

    • Target Skill Summary shows a summary of all skills being worked on by the student.

  • The Accuracy column gives the total accuracy for each skill, and the Last 3 column gives the average accuracy of the last three times that the skill was practiced.

  • The Mastery column shows the student’s progress toward mastery of a skill. Currently, default mastery is set to 80% accuracy for each skill. Skill Mastery is classified as Emerging, Approaching, or Meets. Skills without enough data points are Unclassified. Mastery classifications can be used by SLPs as a quick reference for how the student is progressing in certain skills.

  • ROP, or Rate of Progress, shows the student’s rate of progress for each skill within the selected date range. The Last Practice column shows the last date a student practiced a skill.
