Resetting your password

Learn why passwords expire, what you'll see, and how to update yours

Updated over a week ago

To keep everyone’s data more secure and remain HIPAA compliant, the Amplio platform requires you to reset your password every 90 days. You’ll receive a few reminders along the way with a button to let you change your password immediately.

If you’ve dismissed the reminders, you can change your password at any time from the Settings menu. To change your password at any time:

1. Select Settings > Reset Password

Settings menu with Reset Password highlighted

2. Type in your new password twice. Password complexity requirements are dynamically checked off as you type in your new password. Only once you’ve met the requirements can you save your new password.

Set a New Password dialog box

Note: You are not able to reuse or recycle your previous Amplio platform passwords.

3. Select Save Password

Once you see the notification that your password was changed successfully, you are all done! Be sure to use your new password the next time you log in.
