The Present Button

Presenting activities to students before they get started

Updated over a year ago

Before students are ready to complete activities independently, they may need individual or group instruction. The Present button allows you to provide instruction on the activity you have chosen. Students can view it presented from your screen on their devices before they can interact with it.

When starting an activity, the screen will be in preview mode, and students will not be able to see it yet as indicated in the "Preview - only you can see this" notification.

When you select Present, students will see the activity as a whole group. They will be able to see your manipulation of pictures and the use of the bee as a pointer.

You will know you are presenting because the notification message changes to "Presenting to all students."

To stop presenting, select Stop. To assign the activity to specific students, select Assign to students.

The Present button allows the interventionist or therapist to share the activity and present instructions in a 1:1 or group session. Students will be able to view your manipulation of the board when you are presenting, but they cannot manipulate the board themselves until you assign the activity.
