How to Create Custom Review Decks

The mechanics of creating and saving a custom deck is the same regardless of curriculum or activity.

  1. Preview the desired activity.

  2. Select the pencil icon at the top of the deck.

  3. Expand the drop down (A) and select + Add new plan (B).

  4. Name the deck something meaningful to connect it to the students that will use it, for example "M-F 9:15".

  5. If the activity contains multiple decks, use the dropdown arrows to reveal the deck you want to customize.

  6. Select relevant cards. By default, all cards are initially checked. Uncheck Select all and select individual cards as needed.

Note: The first card remains checked when you uncheck Select all as at least one card must be selected.

  7. Reorder the cards as desired by clicking and dragging the six dots on the left-hand side of the cards.

  8. Select Save.

How to Use Review Decks

  • Select the card to flip and reveal to the students.

  • Shuffle the deck by selecting the crossed arrows located next to the pencil icon.

  • Reset the deck back to sequential order by selecting the circling arrow.

  • If the activity contains multiple decks, drag the top deck out of the way to reveal the decks behind.

Tip: Edit your custom decks during or after a session to reflect student progress. This will keep your custom decks up to date and prepare them for the next session.
