Organizing your Environment

We want to ensure you have created the ideal environment to provide efficient and quality digital therapy.

Updated over a year ago
  • Computer: find device specifications in your computer's Settings or About your PC section. The computer you use needs to have at least 4 GB RAM, an 11-inch display or larger, a dual-core processor i3-5010U and above, & the ability to support a headset with a microphone. Chromebooks are not recommended for Therapists. iPads are fully supported for student use ONLY.

  • Connectivity: 15 Mbps or higher is preferred for upload & download speeds & use of Google Chrome to access the platform.

  • Browser: We recommend you use the most updated version of Google Chrome. This is to ensure you are able to see activities as intended.

  • Audio & Video via Microphone & Webcam: For sessions with remote students, ensure a camera is attached to the computer or a webcam and microphone. Most computers come with built-in cameras and microphones. For onsite sessions: a built-in camera, webcam, or headphones are not a requirement since they are face-to-face.

  • Workspace: If you are in your home, you’ll need a private, quiet room with a door & the use of headphones so all background noise is kept to a minimum. If you are at school your workspace will depend on whether you are holding a session with remote students or an on-site session. Remote & onsite sessions both require a quiet space. Remote sessions require headphones & webcams to clearly hear/see remote students. Onsite sessions do not require webcams or headphones.

There’s lots more information to explore. Don’t stop here! Welcome to Amplio. We’re glad you’re here.
