The SLP AI Assistant is a new, AI-powered feature in Amplio designed to help Speech-Language Pathologists spend less time on paperwork and more time supporting students. It provides fast, reliable drafting assistance for common SLP documentation and communication tasks.
Important: This feature is currently in beta. Always review and edit generated content before using it in official documentation or communication.
What Is the SLP AI Assistant?
The SLP AI Assistant is a built-in tool that helps draft professional, school-based SLP materials such as:
- IEP goals
- Session notes
- Parent and caregiver communication
The assistant is optimized for typical SLP workflows and encourages evidence-based, ASHA-aligned practices. It is designed to support your work - not replace your professional judgment or clinical decision-making.
How to Use the AI Assistant
- Click AI Assistant in the Amplio sidebar
- Select a starter prompt or type your own request
- Review the response as itโs generated
- Edit, refine, and verify the content before using
